manager has insisted his players must learn to cope with the “noise” surrounding their Premier League title challenge — or accept they may not belong at the club.

The Gunners sit two points clear at the top of the table as they chase their first league title since ’s famous 2003-04 “Invincibles” side. However, their recent form has raised concerns, with just two wins from their last seven league games.

Title rivals have reduced the gap from five points to two ahead of Arsenal’s crucial North London derby away to on Sunday.

“If you don’t want noise, go elsewhere”

Arteta dismissed accusations that Arsenal are “bottlers” after they surrendered a 2-0 lead to Wolves, conceding a dramatic 94th-minute equaliser. He made it clear that criticism is part of competing for major honours.

“You ask them the question: do you want to be part of the noise? Or not?
If not, go and do something else, be part of a different club.”

The Spaniard stressed that Arsenal have spent over a decade trying to return to consistent title contention — and that external pressure is unavoidable now they are back among the elite.

“Everybody has been demanding for 10 years, 15 years that we need to go back there. And now we are there. And now what? You don’t want noise?”

Title race intensifies

Arsenal have finished second in each of the last three seasons — twice behind Manchester City and last term to Liverpool — and are desperate to finally end their 22-year league drought.

With the North London derby looming and City breathing down their necks, Arteta acknowledged the pressure but framed it as a sign of progress.

“Noise is part of it and the bullets are part of that and we try to deal with it in the right way and achieve what we are looking for.”

Sunday’s derby could prove pivotal in determining whether Arsenal can silence the critics — or whether the “noise” grows even louder in the weeks ahead.
